The Aspen Institute Kyiv Held Joint Meeting of Dialogue Event Moderators and the Community Council

The Aspen Institute Kyiv held a joint meeting of dialogue event moderators and the Community Council of the Institute.

Moderators guide conversations, create a space of trust and meaningfulness, balance perspectives, keep time, and foster mutual respect. They do not impose their views but help participants discover new dimensions of understanding essential ideas.

The Community Council of Aspen Institute Kyiv is an advisory body of the Institute, comprising graduates of leadership and program seminars.

Yuliya Tychkivska, Executive Director of the Aspen Institute Kyiv, presented the organization’s strategic priorities for 2025 to the meeting participants:

  • Development of the Aspen community.
  • Fundraising and financial sustainability.
  • Enhancing communication effectiveness.
  • Development of program activities.

Denis Poltavets, the Institute’s Director of Program Development, presented the events plan for 2025. The meeting also covered the launch of a moderator training program, its potential content, overall goals, and objectives.

We often say that the Aspen Institute Kyiv is about people. And it is people who lay the groundwork for change. We thank the moderators, members of the Community Council, and the Institute team for a meaningful dialogue. We create an environment where dialogue becomes the foundation for real action.
