National Identity

Location:Kyiv, Ukraine
Understanding the national identity is currently an open and relevant issue for leaders of Ukrainian society. Various interpretations of the history of the country, the narratives of social groups differentiation are still among the factors that atomise society and lead to inter-group and interpersonal conflicts. Besides, the problem of national identity in Ukraine is usually considered separately from the global context and intellectual developments of the world’s Ukrainian diasporas.
An objective and impartial dialogue between leaders should help to identify the values of national identity. Within the program “National Identity” there are seminars, round tables, conversations and other events.
