Since 2016, Aspen Institute Kyiv has been organizing seminars for a generation of young Ukrainian leaders (27-35 years old) to engage them in a meaningful dialogue about human nature, freedom, property, issues of equality, community development, justice, and trends that shape our future.
The seminar lasts about a week. Participants meet in the picturesque Carpathians. During the round table, they exchange their experiences and learn from each other, discussing the texts of the world’s most famous thinkers, and opening up new opportunities for world knowledge. The event is for leaders of various fields of economy, civil service, politics, culture, art, media, public organizations, science, etc.
The seminar discussions allow getting acquainted with new formats of group work in practice, which use the elements of Socratic text dialogue. The seminar also provides a space to discuss the potential for cooperation and joint participation in socially important projects that can strengthen the ideals of a good society.
