The 4th “Values and Society” Seminar Takes Place in the Carpathians

From April 14–20, 2018, the Aspen Institute Kyiv held its fourth “Values and Society” seminar in the picturesque Carpathian Mountains, bringing together 22 Ukrainian leaders aged 27–35.
Through roundtable discussions and group work, particular attention was given to topics such as the relationship between the individual and society, law, justice, freedom, and property, as well as the nature of leadership, societal tensions, and future horizons.
At the close of the seminar, participants highlighted the intellectual depth of the discussions, the value of exchanging perspectives on the values and principles underlying the modern world, the new understanding gained through dialogue, and the importance of cross-sectoral communication among leaders from different regions and professional fields.
The next “Values and Society” seminar will take place November 17–23, 2018. Details on the application process will be posted on the Aspen Institute Kyiv’s page in July 2018.
