Program

Human, Family, and Society

The full-scale war, along with demographic, social, and economic threats and temporary forced displacement, has led to a significant transformation in the concept of family and kinship ties. For sustainable development, the country must adapt to new realities, address emerging challenges, and build its future.
In 2024, the Institute held three three-day seminars, "Family: Concept, Principles and Policy" as part of the Program.

We invite representatives of government institutions authorized to develop and implement family policy, local governments, public, charitable, and international organizations, businesses, media, and experts related to the event’s topic.

Dates of the seminars:

  • August 2-4
  • October 11-13
  • November 29-December 1

Location: a hotel complex in Kyiv region.

The Program’s goal is to create a platform for discussing the family concept, main trends, reasons for transformation, challenges, and perspectives of family relations in Ukraine.

The discussion will be based on texts by classical and contemporary thinkers and researchers of all genders, serving as a foundation for dialogue. Participants representing diverse perspectives on family and family policy will collaborate to develop strategies and recommendations that take into account global trends and the evolving needs of modern Ukrainian families.
