The Aspen Institute Kyiv held the second methodological seminar for moderators of the Reinventing Ukrainian Identity project

In March 2021, Aspen Institute Kyiv launched the seminars within the framework of the Reinventing Ukrainian Identity project.

The objective of the project is to work through divisive national discourses and to promote the culture of dialogue among Ukrainian political leaders.

Participants will take part in moderated dialogues with the intention of working through divisive national discourses based on the works of modern and classical thinkers in search of a value foundation and an inclusive national narrative.

Participants of the seminars will take part in moderated dialogues with elements of the Socratic method they will read and discuss the texts of modern thinkers, will exchange their views and experiences to better understand and comprehend the proposed for consideration topics. 

Within the framework of the project, initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, The Aspen Institute Kyiv will held 10 one-day seminars for members of Verkhovna Rada, top government officials (including local governments of oblasts, major cities), leaders of large businesses and business associations, public intellectuals and academicians, artists, media representatives (editors, owners, leading journalists).

The next seminars for moderators will take place in June.
