“Community formation is critical for every organization”: Yuliya Tychkivska spoke at the 10th Civil Society Development Forum

Yuliya Tychkivska also emphasized the formation of communities as an important component of the sustainability of organizations. Thus, the Aspen Community of the Kyiv Institute unites active people with a strong sense of the common good who are capable of effective cooperation. Without the members of the Community, the activity of Aspen Institute Kyiv would be impossible.

— Community building is critical for every organization. Permanent changes, as a rule, occur from the bottom up. In this chain, the community is one of the most important and effective elements. At the same time, in difficult times, community members will be the first to support the organization and come to the rescue.

According to the executive director of the Aspen Institute Kyiv, the business has gone beyond just making a profit. For the leaders of this sphere, the common good becomes no less important.

— Civil society, as a phenomenon, has gone far beyond the boundaries of NGOs. A business does much more than just make a profit. If we talk about the activity of Aspen Institute Kyiv, it is possible thanks to the support of entrepreneurs. We are proud that the business understands the importance of the Institute’s mission and helps us maintain resilience even in the most difficult times.

Oleksandr Kliuzhev, Illarion Pavlyuk, Oleksandra Baklanova, and Oksana Maidan also took part in the discussion. Oleksandr Sushko moderated the discussion. The event was held in partnership with the International Renaissance Foundation.

The team of Aspen Institute Kyiv thanks the organizers for the invitation to the Forum. And also wishes all our readers, their organizations, and their companies sustainability!
