Exchange of Experience and Broadening Horizons: Participants’ feedback of the “Responsible Leadership” Seminar

Participation in the “Responsible Leadership” seminar by the Aspen Institute Kyiv provides an opportunity to exchange experiences, broaden horizons, and enrich oneself with new ideas and thoughts.

The 24th seminar participants shared their impressions, emphasizing the importance of looking at the same things from different angles. Each participant brought their unique perspectives and discoveries to the dialogue, deepening the understanding of the problems and challenges of the modern world.

We remind you that applications for the 25th-anniversary seminar “Responsible Leadership” are now open. Details and registration can be found on our web-site.

NATALYA PIPA, MEMBER OF THE UKRAINIAN PARLIAMENT

“In the joint dimension of the state, the “Responsible Leadership” seminar makes great sense in the long-term perspective for the reboot of Ukrainian society and the creation of the boldest state not only on the battlefield but also in the field of global innovation!”

YAROSLAV VEDMID, HEAD AND FOUNDER OF POSTMEN

“The Aspen seminar is an experience that becomes a point of transformation and an opportunity to continue it, turning it into an ongoing process of personal and group growth, essentially unlimited. Simply put, a week of reading key texts of Western civilization and another week of discussing them cannot pass without leaving a trace. The process itself guarantees results. Therefore, I advise applying for the seminars. It took me three attempts, even though I got in on the first try but couldn’t attend. Some people apply seven or more times before achieving the result. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter when Aspen happens to you—what matters is what happens afterwards.”

IRYNA LYMARENKO, FOUNDER OF FOBERINI

“After spending these five days in Aspen, my worldview expanded by 360°. Here, in one space, gathered people whose scale of influence is immeasurable. Each person has their own success and unique vision, but together, we interacted as a single organism. I was amazed that such individuals see solutions for our society for several generations ahead and have a global influence right now. To absorb their experience was something completely new to me. I realized how influence and responsibility are interconnected and opened new horizons for my growth. Thank you, Aspen, for this opportunity. During these five days, I began deep transformations, and I thank everyone who was with me!”

VICTOR LIAKH, PRESIDENT OF EAST EUROPE FOUNDATION

“The war in the country requires even more time to reflect on values, culture, interaction, and to think about what is happening to us at both the country level and the level of organizational leaders who are moving the country forward on all fronts—economic, legal, cultural, social. I am extremely grateful to The Aspen Institute Kyiv for the first “Responsible Leadership” seminar since Russia’s full-scale invasion. It was an incredible time of reflections, discoveries, wonderful acquaintances… and a sense of shared values and life intentions to work for the country.”
