The Annual Meeting of the International Committee of the Aspen Institute — discussed program activities, work outcomes, global challenges, and ideas

438 hours of dialogues in Ukraine, 495,000 views of event videos in Nairobi, 1.9 million website visits in Italy, and 2,500 event participants in Germany — these are just some of the results achieved by the international network of Aspen Institute partners in 2024.
Every autumn, 16 independent Aspen Institutes from around the world gather in New York to discuss program activities, work outcomes, global challenges, and new ideas.
At this year’s meeting, our American colleagues presented the results of implementing the Aspen Institute’s (USA) Strategic Plan for 2024–2029. This plan’s three key priorities are building societal trust, fostering leadership, and engaging with the younger generation.

Another priority presented at the meeting was deepening collaboration among partners, such as through experience and knowledge sharing, particularly in the digital sphere, and launching strategic initiatives.
The team of Aspen Institute (USA) showcased the work of partners from around the world. Event participants highlighted the transformational impact of dialogues that shape a new vision of leadership and global collaboration.
Executive Director Yuliya Tychkivska represented our Institute. Ms. Yuliya spoke about the Institute’s activities during the war, the unification of leaders in various cities across Ukraine, the organization of Ideas Days in shelters, and a significant project rethinking the social contract. She also emphasized the high demand for leadership seminars.
We thank our partners for meaningful discussions, inspiration, and new ideas! Such meetings are precious for us because they allow us to explore the diverse work of other Aspen Institutes worldwide and broaden our perspectives. A special thank you for the support we feel every day.
Despite sometimes differing perspectives, varied experiences, and the distances between us, the members of the Aspen family will continue to work for the resilience and development of their societies and the global world.
