Aspen Institute Kyiv Joins the Aspen International Partners Committee Meeting in Spain
Yuliya Tychkivska, Executive Director of Aspen Institute Kyiv, and Anatolii Klepatskyi, Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board of Aspen Institute Kyiv, took part in the annual International Committee Meeting of the Aspen Institute International Partners network, hosted by Aspen Institute España in La Granja de San Ildefonso, Segovia.
This year’s gathering was the largest International Committee Meeting to date, bringing together a record number of partners from the United States alongside representatives of Aspen Institutes from across the global network.
The programme opened with the colloquium “Leadership for the Common Good in 2026,” held in the presence of His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain. The discussion was moderated by Elliot Gerson, Executive Vice President of the Aspen Institute, and featured speakers including the heads of Aspen Institute México and Aspen Digital, as well as the General Manager of the Bank for International Settlements.
The conversation addressed some of the defining challenges of our time, including artificial intelligence, economic transformation, geopolitical competition, and armed conflict.
The second day featured the traditional Aspen seminar, centred on values-based dialogue, reflection, and conversations that extend beyond the day-to-day policy agenda. The three-day meeting concluded with the International Committee session, during which each partner Institute presented its key initiatives, future plans, and stories of both challenges and achievements.
Aspen Institute Kyiv presented the results of the Aspen Kyiv Challenge, an initiative first launched in 2025 in partnership with the Aspen Institute Centre for Rising Generations, with support from the Aspen Institute International Partners Global Fund, and in collaboration with the Klitschko Foundation.
