Aspen Institute Kyiv Holds the Seminar “The Limits of Thinking: Leadership and Action in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”

From 24 to 27 April 2026, Aspen Institute Kyiv hosted a seminar in Ukraine’s Khmelnytskyi region exploring how rapid advances in artificial intelligence are reshaping our understanding of thinking, responsibility, and the role of leadership.

The seminar, “The Limits of Thinking: Leadership and Action in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” brought together business leaders and alumni of Aspen Institute Kyiv programmes who are either already working with AI or are beginning to integrate it into their daily professional practice.

The discussions centred on questions about the limits of human thought and action, responsibility in situations where some decisions are delegated to intelligent systems, and what leadership means when control is no longer absolute.

The programme combined Aspen’s dialogue-based approach to reading texts with expert-led sessions and collaborative inquiry, encouraging participants to explore these questions together while engaging with a rapidly evolving technological reality.

The seminar was developed and delivered with the participation of Oleksandr Krakovetskyi, CEO of DevRain, CTO of DonorUA, Microsoft AI Most Valuable Professional, and Microsoft Regional Director. The seminar was moderated by Denys Poltavets, Director of Program Development at Aspen Institute Kyiv, and Serhii Rohol, Aspen Institute Kyiv Moderator, Co-founder and CEO of the ESTET Group. The programme was coordinated by Alina Shkliaruk, Director of Seminar Programs, with administrative coordination by Tetiana Lymar.
