The Aspen Institute Kyiv invites a Partnership and Fundraising Manager to join the team

The Aspen Institute Kyiv is looking for a Partnership and Fundraising Manager!
The Partnership and Fundraising Manager will establish and maintain strong relationships with key Ukrainian businesses, foundations, and organizations that align with our institute’s mission. Duties include developing and managing fundraising campaigns, preparing grant applications, organizing fundraising events, and attracting new donors.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy, setting specific goals, methods, and timelines to achieve results.
- Conduct research to identify potential donors (individual donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, etc.).
- To identify and develop strategic partnerships with Ukrainian businesses aligning with our mission.
- Develop and manage CSR initiatives, corporate sponsorship, and partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and sustainable impact.
- Prepare and conduct presentations, meetings, and other events to attract financial support.
- Prepare grant applications to secure funding from foundations, government agencies, and other organizations.
- Maintain regular communication with donors and partners, including preparing newsletters, reports, and thank-you notes.
- Maintain and update the donor and partner database, including contact information, donation history, and other relevant data.
- Conduct ongoing data analysis to determine the effectiveness of various fundraising methods and make decisions based on the obtained results.
- Coordinate work with our teams to ensure alignment of fundraising efforts with the overall strategy.
- Organize and conduct partnership events, ensuring high engagement and satisfaction. Also, plan and coordinate charity auctions, gala evenings, and other fundraising activities.
- Prepare reports on fundraising activities and the use of raised funds, as well as ensure monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of partnership activities.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as management, marketing, communications, business administration, or a related area.
- At least 3 years of experience in partnership development, corporate relations, or a similar position in NGOs or the corporate sector.
- Established network of contacts in the Ukrainian business environment and proven experience in building successful partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Ukrainian and English.
