Congratulations to the graduates of the “Responsible Leadership” — 28 on completing the seminar

What is a human? Where is the boundary between an individual and society? What is the nature of a leader? What does a good life mean?

These questions do not have quick answers, but if we give ourselves the time and space to think about them, they can change us if we look at them from different angles. This happened at the “Responsible Leadership” — 28 seminar, which brought together 24 leaders from various fields, such as public administration, business, culture, military service, education, and civil society.

The seminar format was a moderated dialog. The starting point was the texts of classical and contemporary thinkers. Participants expressed their opinions and listened to the experiences of others, agreed and disagreed, and searched for new ideas and common ground.

One of the central themes was war as a central framework for our present and future. War requires a new type of leadership: responsible, effective, compassionate, and human-centered. It requires leaders who achieve results while not forgetting to support others, especially the younger generation.

There is still a lot of work to be done. However, a frank dialogue among different leaders can be the point at which transformation begins – rethinking their activities, internal guidelines, and purpose.

The Aspen Institute Kyiv congratulates the alumni of the 28th group, “Responsible Leadership,” on completing the seminar.

We are grateful to the seminar moderators, Denis Poltavets and Viacheslav Rudnytskyi, for their informative dialogues and to the Seminar Program Director, Alina Shklyaruk, for coordinating the seminar.

We want to remind you that the Responsible Leadership 29 seminar application process is open right now. To learn more and apply, please follow the link.
