At the final meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Aspen Institute Kyiv for 2024, the members, led by Chairperson Natalie Jaresko, discussed the results of program activities and plans for the year ahead.

This year has been quite eventful, and everyone in the Institute’s team has been working hard. Executive Director Yuliya Tychkivska briefed on the following:

  • Conducting nine full-format leadership seminars: two “Responsible Leadership,” two “Business and Society,” two “Media and Reality: Dimensions of Responsibility,” “Values and Society,” “Justice, Law and Society,” and a seminar for judges within this program area;
  • Organizing a series of public events: the first Ukrainian Action Forum in Ivano-Frankivsk and Ideas Days for local communities in Odesa, Poltava and Zhytomyr;
  • Activities within the program areas “(Re)thinking the Social Contract of Ukraine,” “The Cybersecurity Dialogue,” “Relief for Ukraine: Ecosystem of Support for Ukrainians,” “Good Governance,” “Human, Family and Society,” and others;
  • Development of the Aspen Institute Kyiv Community.

The Supervisory Board highly praised the team’s work. In 2024, the team organized nearly 70 events involving about 3,000 leaders from various fields to unite and support Ukrainian society.

During the meeting, the Aspen Institute Kyiv team approved the program plan for 2025, which includes leadership seminars, public events, the development of program directions, and future partnerships.

We appreciate that all the members of the Supervisory Board are actively involved in the Institute’s activities, investing their efforts, resources, and experience in developing the Aspen movement in Ukraine.
