Seminar «Dialogue with stakeholders: methodology and practice»
On June 16-17, 2020, The Aspen Institute Kyiv held an online-seminar «Dialogue with stakeholders: methodology and practice» dedicated to preparation, conducting and analyzing outcomes of consultations with stakeholders as a part of policy process.
Defining interests and positions of key stakeholders allows to clarify issues, and to propose different solution options, to analyze possible influences, risks, and limitations of policies, to define the criteria of success of its implementation, and monitoring.
The holding of consultations with engaged sides enables alignment of interests, raises the effectiveness of decision-making.
During the Good Governance seminar, participants got acknowledged with theoretical bases of holding consultations with stakeholders, analyzed the practical case about the agreement of the General Plan of Dolyna city (Ivano-Frankivsk oblast), defined questions, which will become a subject for their practice of consultations.
The Aspen Institute Kyiv will develop «Methodology of holding consultation with stakeholders» using the results of the seminar.
