Aspen Community members discussed prospects and value-based leadership of Ukraine with former president of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė

Dalia Grybauskaitė served as the President of Lithuania for 10 years. In her leadership, she took civic values and national interests as her guide. As the first female president of her country and the first one to be elected for a second term, she was a strong and principled leader.

The meeting was off the record, so the participants got a chance to ask tough questions and receive straightforward answers. Main topics included reforms, value-centered leadership, and Ukraine’s opportunities

Yuliia Tychkivska, CEO of Aspen institute Kyiv, summed up the meeting:

“Dalia Grybauskaitė is a shining example of female leadership. The Community of Aspen Institute Kyiv unites the leaders from different areas and fields of work. The conversation with Mrs. Grybauskaitė is a great opportunity for them to strengthen confidence in themselves and their principles”.
