Young Leaders discussed the Transatlantic Relations during the International Seminar “The NextGen Network: Transatlantic Initiative”

Aspen Institute Kyiv serves as a place for dialogue between leaders about pressing current issues and prospective solutions.

On June 23rd, Aspen institute Kyiv held a second international online seminar for young European leaders “The NextGen Network: Transatlantic Initiative”. Aspen Institute and Aspen Institute Spain co-organized the event with sponsorship from Microsoft.

During 2 sessions 26 participants discussed democracy, stability, economic opportunity, and technological development. They shared experiences from their countries, as well as tried to forecast ways of global development. Current and former leaders shared their perspectives with the cohort, including Madeleine Albright, former US Secretary of State, and Mircea Geoană, deputy Secretary general of NATO.
