Expert Discussion on Draft Law No. 8087 regarding the Protection of Information Infrastructure: Enhancing the cyber resilience of the State
On February 5th, the USAID Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine Activity in partnership with the Aspen Institute Kyiv, held an Expert Discussion on draft law #8087, “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding Urgent Measures to Enhance Cybersecurity Capacities of State Information Resources and Objects of Critical Information Infrastructure.”
The event aimed to engage representatives from various stakeholders in discussing draft law #8087 and gathering proposals and comments on the draft law. The Expert Discussion involved representatives from government institutions, the cybersecurity market, and critical infrastructure objects.
During the event, participants provided comments on draft law #8087. Additionally, participants could ask questions about the draft law in an expert panel and receive answers
Oleksandr Smychnikov, Business Consulting Director, 10Guards LLC, and Rasim Babanli, Rasim Babanly, the First Deputy Head of the Supreme Court Apparatus, moderated the Expert Discussion.
During 2022–2024, 10 stakeholder dialogues and five seminars will be held to discuss and find better solutions in the Сybersecurity field to build and improve Ukraine’s cyber resilience.
