Cyber experts projects proposal to strengthen the Strategy of Innovative Development of Ukraine until 2030
On March 12, the USAID Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine Activity, in partnership with the Aspen Institute Kyiv, held the Dialogue “Cyber Innovations 2030: Challenges, Priorities and Projects”.
The event was part of the public discussion of the draft Strategy for Innovative Development of Ukraine – WinWin 2030. This strategy was developed and presented in December 2023 by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the support of the USAID Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine Activity.
The dialogue aimed to develop ideas and directions for priority projects to be proposed to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for inclusion in the Strategy for Innovative Development of Ukraine regarding cybersecurity. The dialogue brought together business representatives in the field of cybersecurity.
Participants discussed innovative trends in cybersecurity and worked in groups to develop top cybersecurity projects for Ukraine to fill the innovation strategy – ideas included the development of products using artificial intelligence, projects to update ICS systems, and ready-made solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. The participants also emphasized the demand for cybersecurity solutions and considered global trends and niches for developing innovations in the sector.
We also remind you that during 2022-2024, 12 stakeholder dialogue events were held under the Cybersecurity Dialogue Program to discuss and find the best solutions in this area to build and improve Ukraine’s cyber resilience. Three more events are planned.
The Cybersecurity Dialogue Program is supported by the USAID Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine Activity in collaboration with the Aspen Institute Kyiv.
