Media and Reality: International Aspect

On May 28, as part of the seminar “Media and Reality: Measurements of Responsibility”, a panel discussion was held to explore parallels of media work with other professional spheres – diplomacy and governance in state and non-governmental sectors.

Personal and professional insights into limits, drawbacks and benefits of impartiality were shared by Taras Shevchenko, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, Ambassador Henrik Villadsen, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator, Tobias Thyberg, Ambassador of Sweden, a country that is now chairing the OSCE, Yuliya Tychkivska, Executive Director of the Aspen Institute Kyiv, and John Holland, an international expert in communications and journalism.

The seminar was supported by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine.

To ensure safety, all participants did PCR testing for COVID-19 before the seminar.
