Olha Stefanishyna, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine — Recipient of the Aspen Institute Kyiv Award for the Development of a Culture of Dialogue

During the annual Aspen Reunion, the Aspen Institute Kyiv presents awards to members of the Community who have demonstrated value-based leadership throughout the year.

Olha Stefanishyna, the International Regional Seminar — 3 seminar alumni and Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, received the Aspen Institute Kyiv Award for developing a culture of dialogue.

Olha Stefanishyna is one of the drivers of Ukraine’s accession to the EU. Ms. Stefanishyna’s contribution has played an essential role in bringing us closer to full membership in the family of European countries this year. There are still many reforms and changes on this path. Still, the dialogue with international partners has played a massive role in the decision to grant Ukraine candidate status and in the European Commission’s recommendation to open accession negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova.

We wish Ms. Olha inspiration and strength in this critical work, which will undoubtedly contribute to the country’s development.
