Representatives of the Supervisory Board, the Executive Team and the Community of the Aspen Institute Kyiv presented the award to Oleksiy Reznikov

Every year Aspen Institute Kyiv presents awards to the alumni who have shown prominent dignity and responsibility. In 2022, the choice was challenging because most of the Institute’s alumni became an example of resilience and courage.

In 2022 Aspen Institute Kyiv awarded Oleksiy Reznikov, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine and the “Responsible Leadership” – 14 seminar alumni, for an example of value-oriented leadership. On February 10, representatives of the Supervisory Board, the executive team and the Community of the Aspen Institute Kyiv presented Mr. Oleksiy with the award.

Throughout the year, Oleksiy Reznikov, as the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, adjusted the troops’ supply and logistics and helped to unite the efforts of allies to support our country, particularly within the framework of the Ramstein platform.

The Executive Team of Aspen Institute Kyiv is convinced that communities are always stronger than individuals. Ukrainian leaders and all of our people are proving this daily, combining efforts and experience in the fight against the Russian invaders. In addition to the presentation of the award, there was a discussion about possible ways of further cooperation between the Community of the Aspen Institute Kyiv and Oleksiy Reznikov to bring Ukraine closer to victory.

Olha Rudnieva, “Responsible Leadership” – 9 seminar alumni and head of Help Ukraine Center was awarded for her contribution to the sustainability of Ukrainian society in 2022. The Institute also honored Oleksiy Makeiyev, Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany and “Responsible Leadership”— 20 seminar alumni for his contribution to the development of the culture of dialogue.
