Aspen Institute Kyiv invites an Operations Manager to join our team! 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Institute’s organizational support, financial activities, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of budget plans, expense reports, and work completion reports within project budgets.
  2. Managing grant reporting.
  3. Managing financial and accounting components of projects.
  4. Participation in the audit of the organization’s financial statements.
  5. Maintaining personnel documentation: orders, business trips, employment contracts.
  6. Preparing meeting minutes and general assembly reports.
  7. Selection and relationship management with contractors, analysis (tenders) for procurement of materials and services.
  8. Contracting with subcontractors and partners.
  9. Managing electronic document flow through “Vchasno”.
  10. Organizing and conducting events (forums, seminars) as part of project implementation – monitoring event locations, contractor search, organizational and logistical support, etc.
  11. Providing organizational and documentary support for the organization’s activities.
  12. Translation/editing of texts.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Higher education in finance or economics and at least three years of managerial experience in financial/operational management or auditing.
  2. Proficiency in the fundamentals of operational, project, and personnel management.
  3. Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a team, and respect deadlines.
  4. Proficient MS Office Word, Excel, Google services, and PowerPoint user.
  5. Proficiency in English (at least Upper Intermediate level).
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
