Lesia Vasylenko, Member of Parliament of Ukraine and “Values and Society” — Participation of the fifteenth “Europe-Africa Form” including 5 seminar alumni

Ukraine took part in the “Europe-Africa” forum for the first time in its history.
Lesia Vasylenko, Member of Parliament of Ukraine and “Values and Society” — 5 seminar alumni, participated in the 15th “Europe-Africa” forum in Annecy, France.

The Aspen Institute (USA) organized this forum. It brings together top government officials, big business, representatives of regional development banks, startups, and, this year, European generals, commissioners, and leading experts. The representative of Ukraine also joined the forum for the first time.
“For four years of working with the Global South, this is the first time I have been in an environment where there are no claims to Ukraine and vice versa — a full understanding that we are a victim of aggression. There are no illusions that the international system led by the UN has not justified itself for a long time, and the war that was allowed to happen is serious and long-lasting,”- says Lesia Vasylenko.
In addition to public events, Ms. Lesya took part in bilateral meetings with Damtien Larbli TCHINTCHIBIDJA, Vice-President of the ECOWAS Commission, President at West African Development Bank BOAD Serge Ekoue, and French General Dominique Trinkwan.
We are grateful to our colleagues for organizing an excellent and informative event!
