Seminar “Leadership and values in the faith of modernity”: Finding Solutions for Challenges faced by Ukrainian Business
On July 7-8, 2023, a seminar titled “Leadership and Values in the Context of Modern Challenges” took place in the Kyiv region for business leaders within the MTI Group of companies.
During the event, participants discussed challenges faced by Ukrainian businesses in contemporary conditions, particularly those of large corporations and their leadership during wartime.
Throughout the various dialogue, participants delved into the historical peculiarities of citizenship definitions, discussed development scenarios, and explored resources for civil society’s long-term stability.
Businesses in Ukraine are currently confronting several issues and it is essential to be prepared and learn to overcome them. These include labor shortages due to migration and emigration, asset loss due to military actions, geopolitical and demographic challenges, changes in the tax system, corruption, the impact of traumatic experiences on team stability, creating a safe environment for long-term work, education, and health, digitization, the spread of artificial intelligence, and more. A specific session of the seminar focused on defining the dimensions of justice, particularly justice in the transitional period.
At the end of the event, participants shared their thoughts on post-war revival, prerequisites for sustainable peace, and economic development in Ukraine.
