The launch of “Disinformation and the Role of Influencers in Social Media during Crises, Conflicts, and Wars” program
The fight against disinformation and propaganda should be at the forefront of attention for leaders of different countries to build a safe information environment worldwide.
The program “Disinformation and the Role of Influencers in Social Media during Crises, Conflicts, and Wars” opened. Aspen Institute Kyiv nominated six participants who will share their experience in combating disinformation and hostile language. Participants, including Ukrainians, will be able to learn from the experience of other countries and share their ideas. They can apply all the practical advice and tools in their communities.
Key stakeholders will be involved in discussions within the project, including influential bloggers with many followers on social media and individuals engaged in political decision-making and shaping digital policies.
Participants will work together on recommendations presented to policy developers, social media platforms, and civil society organizations.
Aspen Institute Germany initiated the project with the support of Aspen Institute Kyiv, Aspen Institute Central Europe, and Aspen Institute Romania.
