The first in-person seminar after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion: “Responsible Leadership”

From 11 to 17 March, the first in-person seminar “Responsible Leadership” was held in the Carpathian Mountains after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. It was especially significant for the Institute because it was initially scheduled to take place in the spring of 2022.

The seminar brought together leaders from various fields such as politics, government, business, military, medicine, culture, arts, and civil society. Throughout the week, the participants engaged in moderated dialogues based on classical and contemporary texts, discussing fundamental and current issues.

One of the distinctive features of Aspen Institute’s Kyiv leadership seminars is the ability to look at familiar things from an unusual angle. This is achieved through the diversity of experiences and thoughts of the participants, as well as the opportunity for leaders to step out of their usual environment.
