The Aspen Institute Kyiv strengthens institutional capacity

On September 17, 2020, the Supervisory Board of The Aspen Institute Kyiv approved policies and compliance procedures that will help strengthen institutional capacity, increase the efficiency of the Institute’s mission and ensure sustainable development in the long run.

By approving the statement on the policy of equal opportunities, The Aspen Institute Kyiv confirms its commitment to the development of value-oriented leadership and open dialogue through various programs implemented by Aspen Institutes around the world.

From November 1, 2020 come into force:

– Conflict of interest prevention policy.
– Diversity, equal opportunities and inclusive policies.
– Workplace health policy.
– Policy on official disclosure.
– Code of ethics and conduct.
– Statement on equal opportunities policy.

We are grateful for the expert support of policy development to the team of the international law firm DLA Piper, led by Halyna Zagorodniuk, a pro-bono practice partner, participant in the seminar “Justice, Law and Society”  7.

The policies were developed as part of the Good Governance Program.
