Aspen Impact Dinner

For the second consecutive year in early September, members of the Aspen Institute Kyiv, its partners, and philanthropists gathered at the gala dinner to discuss the results of the Institute’s activities, its future development, and to support the Institute with their contributions for the next year.
This year, brilliant speeches at Aspen Impact Dinner were delivered by:
– Victoria Nuland, US diplomat, former US Ambassador to NATO;
– Elliot Gerson, Executive Vice President of the Aspen Institute (USA);
– Natalie Jaresko, Chairperson of the Aspen Institute Kyiv.
Aspen Impact Dinner is a continuation of the tradition of the Aspen community to support the activities and the development of the Aspen movement in Ukraine.
As in 2008, when the Aspen seminar was held in Ukraine for the first time, and year after year its participants continued their tradition of supporting next seminars, today members of the Aspen Institute, its institutional partners and patrons continue this tradition and systematically support the development of the Policy Programs of the Institute.
Moreover, this unprecedented example of establishing the Aspen Institute Kyiv, according to Elliot Gerson, Executive Vice President of the Aspen Institute (USA), is an example of how to develop Aspen initiatives in other countries. It is this dynamic development of the Aspen idea in Ukraine, with strong support from the Aspen community, that is a unique case, the experience of which will be extended to other countries in the future.
We are grateful to all participants of the Aspen Impact Dinner and glad that Aspen idea in Ukraine is gaining ground, has lots of supporters and partners, who provide opportunities for the systemic activity of the Aspen Institute to support values-based leadership, promote a culture of dialogue and create opportunities for the exchange of ideas.
