Natalie Jaresko explained how the Aspen Institute Kyiv contributes to Ukraine’s victory during the International Committee Meeting

Aspen Institute Kyiv is a part of a big international Aspen family, which promotes values based on leadership and developing a healthy society in today’s world.

On May 13, the International Committee Meeting was held. During the meeting, the International Partners of the Aspen Institute shared their ideas, insights, and updates on their program activities. The event united representatives from almost all the Aspen Institute International Network.

Aspen Institute Kyiv was represented by the Chairperson of Aspen Institute Kyiv Supervisory Board Natalie Jaresko and the Executive Director of Aspen Institute Kyiv Yuliya Tychkivska (joined virtually). Natalie made a presentation on the current situation in Ukraine and on activities that the Aspen Institute Kyiv is doing as a contribution to Ukraine’s victory. Yuliya shared the additional information about the Executive’s Teamwork in the wart. Since February 24th, Aspen Institute Kyiv:

  • held 8 international events of the #UkrainianDialogue project
  • held events of the Governance and Integrity project
  • continues to develop the Community program

Also, since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Aspen Institute Kyiv Community members and Alumni show many examples of values-based leadership. Everyone does all they can to support Ukraine. We gather their stories and initiatives on the website.

This year’s meeting took place in Miami, where the Aspen Institute (USA) hosted their Aspen Ideas: Climate events.

The Aspen Institute International Network unites thirteen Institutes in the United States, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, India, Romania, Spain, Central Europe, Great Britain, New Zealand, and Ukraine. During the International Committee Meeting 2022, it was announced that the Aspen Initiative Africa became part of the Aspen family. We send our congratulations to our new colleagues.
