19 graduates of the Responsible Leadership seminar joined the Aspen community

On November 18, 19 graduates of the Responsible Leadership seminar joined the Aspen community.

This year’s seminar changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which split the seminar into two parts at intervals of more than six months. The first part of the seminar took place on March 14-16, the second – on November 14-18. Despite the pandemic, the seminar took place in a traditional atmosphere of friendly unity and free intellectual search.

During the meetings in March and November, participants turned to the works of classical and modern thinkers to better understand their own values and leadership mission. Among the authors whose ideas inspired the participants were Aristotle, Plato, Seneca, Thomas Hobbes, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, John Locke, Alexis de Tocqueville, Gregoriy Skovoroda and other thinkers.

To ensure the safety of themselves and their colleagues, all participants underwent PCR testing for COVID-19 before the seminar.

We thank our moderators, Denis Poltavets and Alexander Dobroer, who helped to direct the dialogues in the most fruitful direction.

The Responsible Leadership-21 seminar was coordinated by Alina Shklyaruk, Director of Seminar Programs at The Aspen Institute Kyiv.

Congratulations to the Aspen community on the new members! We wish success and more achievements to our new participants!
