The start of enrollment for the “(Re)thinking the Social Contract for Ukraine” seminar
The Aspen Institute Kyiv announces the start of enrollment for the “(Re)thinking the Social Contract for Ukraine” seminar.
You can apply here.
Aspen Institute Kyiv has been supporting a leaders’ dialogue dedicated to the social contract of Ukraine for over a year. The alignment of the vision of the future and the discussion of key topics around which society will coalesce are essential components of our joint struggle for independence and the right to choose our development path. In particular, the Institute compiled a collection of essays from leading Ukrainian thinkers and intellectuals and conducted nine online and four in-person seminars. More than 300 leaders from various fields participated in the discussions.
The Institute encourages reflections on the topic of the social contract and announces the opening of applications for a seminar aimed at engaging a wide range of stakeholders in shaping a systemic vision for the future. This is the first seminar of the project, and participation will be based on a selection process.
Discussions will be based on a collection of essays by leading Ukrainian thinkers titled “(Re)thinking the Social Contract for Ukraine,” curated by the Aspen Institute Kyiv.
The seminar will be held on the 25th of November, 2023 (09:30-18:00, Kyiv).
The deadline for applying is the 10th of November.
A group of participants will be formed based on representing various professional fields. Those who submit applications for the seminar will be informed about the program’s events in 2024.
The “Social Contract for Ukraine” project is implemented with the support of NED (National Endowment for Democracy).
